The two nations are grinding it out on the trade floor and the future of North Korea is part of the negotiations. What's going on behind closed doors with these two countries is the real story.
After attempting to bring Kim Jong Un under the wings of America and drive a wedge in between him and the communist party of China, Trump now comes out pledging more tariffs on Chinese imports as the two nations continue to duke it out in the realm of trade but both sides know this is about much more than trade. It is about the grand geopolitical chessboard game that is being played out and China has never come up against a sitting American president who refuses to backdown to China's unfair trade schemes as well as its position on North Korea, Taiwan and the South China Sea. China you could say, at least the Party is like a deer caught in headlights not quite knowing what to make of the Trump administration. It was used to getting everything it wanted in the past as America's globalist presidents blindly believed that "free trade" with China would eventually bring about democracy, human rights, a market economy and the rule of law. Wrong on all accounts.
