Despite triumphant noise coming from the WH today there is still practically no specifics as to how much of anything China is supposedly going to buy from the U.S. or even what they are going to buy and no time frames are given. The only vague information that is given is that they will buy a lot of agricultural products. This is just a way of saying to the markets of both countries that we are waiting on something. All these talks have produced very little.
Even the chief economist at Moody's came out today on CNBC saying the same thing.
The overall feeling that we are getting from these messages is that both sides have chosen to play the waiting game for now. So what exactly are they waiting for? We believe it is the June 12th talks between North Korea's Kim Jong Un and President Trump.
We will be watching closely and analyzing what is really going on behind the scenes and bring it to you asap.
