It was with these flagrant violations as well as unfair trade practices enforced by China itself that brought the U.S. government under the Trump administration to ban the sale of parts, mainly electronic parts from the U.S. to the company ZTE.
Today it was announced that ZTE, which stands for ZhongXing Telecommunications Equipment (ZhongXing is Chinese for "resurgence of a dynasty" or "resurgence of the Chinese dynasty" specifically) was officially shutting down all of its operations in China due to the penalties imposed on the company. All of its factories were shutting down operations.
I'll keep you posted on further repercussions but this is already being dubbed as the first victim of the U.S. China Trade War. More to come.
